Architectural Rendering

January 29th, 2010

Inclusion of architectural rendering software and techniques in architectural design has led to a radical age in the process of marketing and visualization of architectural designs. It breathes new life into design by bringing in new designs to 3D life. Architectural 3D rendering enhances design value and communication. It helps clients, shareholders, contractors and others involved in the design and execution process to better understand the intent and beauty of the design. Creating rendering of an architectural design is a more comprehensive way to explain and/or sell your design. In the schematic design phase, architectural renderings can serve as effective and aesthetic tools to communicate the intended design to the client or stake-holder as it would look after it has been built.

You can effectively incorporate realistic tools like vegetation, people, color, texture and lighting to your renderings to help them seem as closer to life and reality as possible. 3D architectural rendering using software such as RenderCity and Atlantis are of critical use to builders, real estate developers and house builders to create a hype and virtual representation of their proposed developments. These architectural rendering are used as marketing and promotional material in advertisements and brochures. These 3D architectural renderings hence, give a virtual insight into the layout and proposed look of the design to prospective tenants and home owners.

Traditionally architectural rendering entailed the artistic representation of the reality of the architect’s design. Now with digital technology and advent of rendering software, more accurate and realistic future reality of an upcoming building can be created. Hand drawn renderings are thus, being slowly phased out of the architectural design environment except for being used by architects and designers during the preliminary stages of planning and design development and primarily for their own use. For the purpose of expressing their designs to clients, stakeholders and others interested architects and designers are increasingly relying on architectural rendering technology to create digital, virtual representations by way of a photo-realistic visual 3D architectural rendering or a full scale architectural walkthrough.

Uncompromised quality, accuracy in fine details, and an ability to allow multiple vantage points are some of the quantifiable advantages of 3D architectural rendering. Varied arrays of architectural rendering techniques are in use today. Concept visualization focuses in realistic color renderings, exterior renderings, floor plan rendition, interior renderings and site plan walkthroughs. These could be colored, textured rendering or black and white conceptual sketches.

The World of Architectural Designs

January 25th, 2010

Architectural interior designing has existed since the time human beings began building houses for themselves. They made crude houses from stone, wood and whatever else they could find useful for making their houses. Those structures were not at all comfortable or stylish compared to the sophisticated interiors that architects design nowadays. But they were the earliest steps that man took in the field of architectural interior designing.

As humans gained mastery over various elements, they started building better houses with improved interiors. Once they had succeeded in achieving a satisfying comfort level in their interiors, our architect ancestors started paying attention to beautifying them. This led to the creation of various styles of architectural interior design.

Architectural interior designing first got recognition during the Roman and Gothic ages. Since then it has explored a variety of styles across different ages. The concepts of architectural interior designing have been seen to be influenced by prevailing economic and social conditions. For example, the economic crisis that resulted from World War II played a defining role in making the architectural interior designing of that era quite plain and simple. Architectural interior designing reflects its times, the World War bought misery and financial difficulties to the masses. Consequently some people at that time did not care about the beauty of their interiors or could not afford to beautify their homes. Similarly other significant periods in the history of mankind have been associated with unique styles of architectural interior designing.

Some of the most historically significant forms of architectural interior designing are –

Gothic (13th-century)

Baroque (17th century)

Georgian (18th century)

Classical and Gothic revival (19th century)

Modernistic art (20th century)

Modern Architectural Designs:

Unlike their ancient predecessors who worked with rocks and metals like iron, modern architects use concrete and steel to create marvelous interiors.

Architecture goes green:

A concept of architectural interior designing that has become very popular among present-day architects is that that of a green home. Green homes are built using materials and methods that are friendly to the environment. Much of the materials used in the construction of such homes are environment-friendly, and can be re-cycled. This is very important, because with the threat of global warming looming large over us, we need to do everything that can be done to prevent further damages to our environment.

AutoCAD Architectural Modeling with 3D Graphics ? Powerful option for Construction

January 14th, 2010

If you are new in building construction world and want to get best results in your business in short span of time, then AutoCAD architectural modeling with 3D graphics is the powerful option for you. Architectural modeling is an easiest method to represent building architectural designs to respective builders, contractors, architects and other building professionals. This will clarify every small aspect of building structure to builders and will allow them to build a perfect building structure for you. AutoCAD architectural modeling is mostly used methodology these days for getting quicker and more accurate results in building construction business. Main reason behind this is the use of AutoCAD and 3D graphics in creating 3D architectural building models for range of users. Yes, architectural modeling is all about making creative and realistic 3D architectural building models for any building professional. And use of 3D graphics makes it much more desirable than other related services. AutoCAD is a powerful technology that plays a decisive role here. A complete 3- Dimensional visualization of a proposed building design for architects and other professionals is the major area of concern in AutoCAD architectural 3D modeling. Such 3D models are the easiest way to explain how building structure will look from different angles and views. Using these 3D building models for designing / constructing a building is quite open- ended and sensible approach. Architectural 3D modeling is quite essential in following areas:• 3D architectural exterior models for any type of buildings• 3D architectural interior models for any type of buildings• 3D landscape design modeling• 3D architectural building products development and presentationWhen builders get these much advantageous architectural modeling services in the earlier phases of constructing a building, then it becomes easier for them to build the best of the buildings with top quality.
